The Nikon S1000pj is just an ordinary point-and-shoot digital camera, except that it has a projector inside its tiny frame. Months ago, we made fun of its “ordinary” features, but it’s actually quite a unique camera-slash-projector if you think about it.
The Nikon S1000pj got a 12.1-megapixel camera photo resolution, a 5x lens that’s 25mm equivalent on the wide end, built-in vibration reduction, SD storage, single USB slot and a rechargeable battery. Behind two layers of menu, you can find the ISO and white balance controls of the camera. But you don’t have to worry about that. The only thing I need to tell you is that the Nikon S1000pj shoots as easy as your camera phone.
And the most interesting part of the Nikon S1000pj? It’s got a projector that looks just fine. You can even stretch the photos up to 40 inches and it won’t flake on you. The projector button is right above the camera beside the projector’s manual focus slider.
