Sorry, you will need the <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/" target="_blank">Flash Player</a> to play this game.

Robot USB Drives For The Kid At Heart

I used to be so gaga over the Power Rangers when I was a kid. Back then, I’m not so much into robots but on what they can do. I’m quite amazed that they can turn into something else aside from how they originally look.

This Robot USB drives come in different styles, colors, and is perfect for matching with your personality. There’s yellow, black, pink, blue, red and white. Although they only pack a maximum of 2GB memory each, their cuteness might make you think that they’re worth it after all.

Geek Stuff 4 U is pricing them at $63 per piece, pretty high-priced if you ask me. With $63, I bet you can get a USB with higher memory capacity than 2GB.

Dell Vostro V13 Is Ultraportable

The Dell Vostro V13 is rumored to be the thinnest laptop. With only a measurement of 0.65 inch, this makes the Dell Vostro V13 the most portable notebook you can ever imagine.

This 3.5-pound device includes an eSATA, Ethernet, USB and card reader, among others. But the more interesting features that this notebook packs are its 13.3-inch display screen, ultra-low voltage of Core 2 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM pre-loaded, Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi connectivity of 802.11g/n and an integrated webcam and microphone.

At a reasonable price of $450, this Dell Vostro V13 is perfect for businessmen, travelers and even students. Rumor is it though that the Australian market will get this for a higher price of $850.

Asus Ee PC 1008P Netbook Has Next-Gen Atom N450

Asus will be coming out with a new netbook—the Asus Ee PC 1008P, which has a 1.8GHz Atom N450 CPU, Windows 7 and a new slide-out battery. It, however, has no Nvidia Ion graphics.

Compared with the original Seashell 1008HA, this 10-inch netbook’s keyboard turned chiclet. There’s also a new VGA adapter that can connect via a mini USB cable. The VGA adapter then can hide under the recesses of a netbook.

Other features include 1GB of RAM, 160GB of hard disk, 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth capacity. This netbook is available in this hot pink number and faux crocodile skin finish in brown.

The Asus Ee PC 1008P will feature in January’s CES, where it will go toe-to-toe with MSI’s 10-inch touchscreen U150 netbook.

Asus 12.1-Inch Netbook Finally Arrives In The US

Asus’ 12.1-inch Eee PC 1201HA with a 1.33GHz processor arrived at Best Buy for only $330. But the model’s Atom Z520 CPU and integrated graphics won’t be able to match any Nvidia Ion-powered 1201N version or even the AMD Congo-based 1201T.

This laptop is the first from Asus to have Nvidia Ion graphics. The Eee PC 1201HA has an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, built in LAN, Wireless LAN at 802.11b/g/n and a 5.5 to 7 hour battery life. Nintendo To Release Black Wii

The Wii undergoes a major makeover from its makers, Nintendo. The new Nintendo Wii is shiny, new and colored all black. None of the shadows of the old Nintento Wii white will be featured on this new game console from the gaming master.

I have to say, this new Wii is better looking than the old console. Not that the white Wii didn’t satisfy gamers, but there’s really something about black consoles that make you think you can play better on them. Even the classic controllers, Nunchucks, Wiimote gloves will be made of this color. There no new upgrades for the black Wii. Although Nintendo first promised four colors for the Wii, this one’s the same old console only that now it will debut in black.

The black console is going to be released in Japan on August 1, and will retail for $226, roughly the same price as the white Wii.

V-Screen Enables You To See PSP Games In 3D Format

Imagine playing your favorite PSP games in 3D format? Pretty neat huh? The V-Screen can be attached on the PSP screen, and thereby taking PSP gaming to a whole new level.

And the best thing about this V-Screen is that it doesn’t require the gamer to wear special goggles or the likes, which eventually makes you look geeky and nerdy in public. The specialized screen enables you to see your PSP games in a format we have all been craving for.

No market price or release date has been announced yet for the V-Screen, but I’ve been getting some rave comments on how PSP gamers cannot wait for its availability. And with the response I’ve been hearing, I think it’s safe to say that the V-Screen will outpass the Virtual Boy.

Pass The Time With Leap Frogs Didj

Did you grow up playing the Leapster and Leapster 2? Well, if you did, you probably couldn’t find it nowadays. But thankfully, the answer to that long-lost game has come in the form of the Didj—a portable gaming system designed for children 6 to 10.

The Didj can be played with game cartridges (sold separately) that are both educational and entertaining. Some samples of the games are based on popular teen trends like High School Musical 3 and Hannah Montana.

The Didj can be connected to the PC via a USB. This is to provide more interactivity for kids. With this interconnectivity, kids can go online and trade points they have earned in their game. Kids and parents will also enjoy this handheld since there are educational games like spelling words and spelling bees.

This game console is available in many different colors, and it is powered by four AA batteries. You can get this for about $69.99.

SteelSeries Merc Stealth Gaming Keyboard

Anyone who wants a gaming keyboard, must look into this Merc Stealth. Made by SteelSeries (makers of the Zboard), the Merc Stealth is unlike any portable keyboard out there. Sure, it may not exactly be foldable, but you’re going to enjoy the blue glow below the keys itself. You can have other color options for the glow: purple and red. You can also choose from four different illumination modes like subtle, ambient, intense, or you can set it to off.

The keys in the gameboard are all programmable since it uses the SteelSeries Z Engine software. “It has 34 gaming terrain keys that are tilted at an 11 inch angle, and they are comfortable as they are ergonomic.” There are also hotkeys for running, jumping, crouching, and all other important moves for an MMO game.

The Merc Stealth Gaming Keyboard also has two 2.0 USB ports, plus gold-plated microphone and headset jacks that are then connected to a gold-plated USB connector.

You can get this Merc Stealth Gaming Keyboard at the SteelSeries store for $89.99.

GP2X Wiz: “The Best Portable Yet For Retrogamers”

Haven’t I said before that I especially adore seeing old games in new consoles? Well, this is exactly where the comes in. The GP2X Wiz offers those games we all would usually play in our old Nintendo or SEGA game consoles. Games like the Super Mario Kart, SNES or Batman have now come into fusion with technology in the GP2X Wiz.

The device has a 320 x 240 AMOLED touchscreen display, 1GB memory and and SD card slot. It runs in Linux, and you can use emulators and your collection of legal ROMS to play all those hardcore retrogames in the GP2X Wiz.

This simple-controlled black handheld from Korean company GamePark will cost you a mere $180. Considering what it can do for retrogamers, and what esactly it can create, I would like to think it’s price is well worth its features.

Nintendo DSi LL Has Bigger Screen And Pen

If you’re constantly being bugged by the fact that most game consoles nowadays are getting smaller and smaller, then Nintendo has the right device for you. The new Nintendo DSi LL is a bigger version of its contemporaries.

The Nintendo DSi LL got a new 4.2 inches screen and an extra, bigger pen. The new Nintendo DSi has the same specs as that of its predecessors, although this one will come in more adult colors such as dark brown (which became popular with Zune) and wine red (murky burgundy).

This handheld console will launch in Japan on November 21. It will come with three built-in games that is equivalent to $220. Europe will get it early next year while the United States still has an unannounced release date.

iXtreme, speakers, audio devices

iPods and MP3 players are mainly built as a personal music entertainment for people who can’t seem to get enough of music whether they are waiting for the bus or commuting from one point to another. But during parties, would these gadgets be any use?

Of course, there are speakers to do the job, but this iXtreme Amplified Speakers is even better for that powerful audio punch. It operates the same way as a subwoofer as it amplifies sound through a patented expander tunnel. When music is played, a rich deep bass fills the room.

It is built in rechargeable Lithium ion batteries, which will allow you to play music longer than other speakers.

This iXtreme Amplified Speakers can be purchased for a mere $29.95—just a right amount to pay for some music blasting amplifiers.

Three-Post USB Hub Organizes Your USB Gadgets

Unfortunately, unless USB ports are suddenly installed in our electric sockets, we are doomed to forever charge our iPods and iPhones through our laptops’ or PCs’ USB hubs. The problem is, charging takes away most of the power in our laptops and PCs, as well as it hogs our much-needed USB ports.

The 3 Port USB Hub with Line-In Dock connector for iPhone/iPod is exactly the kind of device you need. Although not an answer against battery-draining charging devices, it is at least a way to maximize your USB ports.

This two-end device has a USB connector on the other end and an iPod-dock connector on the other. The three-port USB hub is placed in the center of the device, connected by short cables. This can both charge the iPod and also allow data-syncing.

The 3 Port USB Hub with Line-In Dock connector for iPhone/iPod retails for only $15, which is cheap considering that it eliminates the cable clutter on your desktop.

Tao Digital Photo Keychains Are Great Accessories

Some of you may have collections of keychains from different cities in the world, but this Tao Digital Photo Keychains is quite different because of its ability to hold over 100 photos and display them on its 1.5-inch colored screen.

The screen display has 128 x 128 pixel detail, and is able to let you carry your photos anywhere you go. The keychains come in either red or black, and are recharged via a USB connection to PC or Mac. With a full charge, these can last up to four hours, or even longer when they are put in sleep mode.

This device, which got an internal memory of 8MB, retails for £9.99 apiece.

Curved Monitor From Ostendo Is Great For Gaming Experience

For the mega-price amount of $6,500, you can live like the crown prince of Dubai and place side by side three of Ostendo’s crazy curvy CRVD monitor. By the simple act of letting these monitors suck you into the world of gaming, you’re initially proving how important is screen resolution and size to enjoy a game of Need for Speed.

Ostendo’s curvy monitor is a 2880×900 quad-DLP CRVD that is able to let you enjoy gaming and other computer-based activities through its curved display screen style. We first saw this monitor during the CES 2008 with Alienware branding and at the Macworld 2009 with an NEC label. At first, we didn’t know it’s actually for sale, but Ostendo just said that units have been purchased since August for defense stimulation and training.

Also, watch out for multi-monitor CRVD applications that are slated to arrive in the coming months. Although there have been some negative response to these curvy monitors (since LCD projectors are much more practical to use for gaming and other stuffs) but hey, if you’ve got the money to spend, why not splurge on these right?

Pogoplug Shares Multiple USB Drives Over The Internet

Just like the first model released by this company, the new Pogoplug allows “for USB drive sharing over the Internet.” This device can also automatically sync content with your Macbook or PC.

More, you can share and watch movies, listen to music and view photos directly through the Pogoplug website. And if you’re thinking that visiting the website is too tedious just to watch movies or listen to music, you can also do all these features through your iPhones. Compared with the old version, this new Pogoplug model adds a drag-and-drop interface and sharing over media sites like Twitter and Facebook.

For $129 without service fees, this Pogoplug that takes up to four USB drives is as good as you can get. But with this device, you have to rely on the company’s ability to stay in business to continue sharing files over the Internet.

MSI Wind Top AE2220: The New All-In-One PC

Maximizing your computer space seems to be the “in” thing these days. From desktop PCs turning to become nettops to miniature mobile phones, you would think that cellphone and laptop manufacturers have finally thrown their caps into the bucket when it comes to creating a more memory-friendly PC.

But no, MSI has just come up with its new Wind Top AE2220, which includes a 21.5-inch with 16:9 widescreen display, full HD (1080p) resolution and high-fidelity 5.1-channel SRS Premium Sound. It got the latest Intel Core 2 Duo or Pentium Dual Core processors and NVIDIA Ion graphics for all your multimedia needs. With the MSI Wind Top AE2220’s high-powered specs, you will be able to play HD movies in theater-like devices.

The MSI Wind Top AE2220 comes also with VGA and HDMI input ports, which will let it function as the primary home computer, TV or widescreen display device for video devices including game consoles.

There is still no word on the pricing though, so we have to stay put for that.

Candy-Colored Dell Zino HD Will Compete With Mac Mini

The candy-colored Dell Zino HDs look so good that you won’t have trouble putting them up in your living rooms. And here in lies why Dell might be able to win the competition with the Mac Mini. It has style, design and flexibility in terms of its colors.

The Dell Zino HD is a full-on entertainment PC. It’s an 8×8-inch box that run on AMD Athlon dual-core processor and offers a choice between Windows Vista, Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux. You can also have the option to pack this HD box with one terabyte of hard drive space, 8GB of RAM, rewritable DVD drive and Blu-ray player.

The HD box has an HDMI port that can connect to your TVs. There are also two eSATA connectors for more storage, and it even has a memory card slot so it can play your pictures directly from your memory drive. More, the Dell Zino HD has the common computer ports like the Ethernet jack, line-out, VGA and four USB ports.

If you like to go for the black-colored Dell Zino HD, you can get it for $230. But if you will choose the more colorful ones of the HD box (with all the specs and OS), you have to pay about $808 for all of that.

When Did Computer Virus Was Born?

Every time my computer crashes on me because of some pest called virus, I wonder when viruses actually came to being. And so here’s a brief history of when computer virus was first discovered…

In November 10, 1983, a University of Southern California graduate student Fred Cohen demonstrated a computer virus during a seminar at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. What he did was to insert his proof of concept code into a Unix command. Within five minutes into the system, Cohen was able to gain control of the whole mainframe computer.

In other demonstrations, the code managed to bypass all of the security measures that are installed in mainframe computers at that time—and the code did the bypassing within half an hour on average.

But until then, it was only referred to as a “code.” It is Cohen’s professor, Len Adleman, who coined the term virus for the self-replication program.

Cohen’s virus, however, is not the first of its kind. Other “worms,” “bugs” and viruses were found in earlier years than 1983. There was the Elk Cloner program that infects Apple II back in 1982 and the “Brain” by two Pakistani brothers in 1986.

In 1988, there was also Robert Tappan Moris Jr., a Cornell University graduate and son of a National Security Agency chief scientist, who first unleashed a widely propagating worm through the Internet.

But until the mid-1990s, the growth of viruses and worms were fairly slow. It was only during the proliferation of desktop PCs and emails that we found ourselves open to large-scale computer viruses. The Melissa virus in 1992 was the first fast-moving virus that reached about 250,000 computers.

A year later, a student from the Philippines crafted an “I love you” virus that spread over 55 million computers, and infected some 2.5 to 3 million. Its estimated cost of damage reached $10 billion.

Since then, viruses and other forms of worms have been rampant in the Internet. The motives of its creators have become diverse as well—from hacking to stealing Internet identities. But luckily, we have also developed new kinds of anti-virus software that can protect our computers and laptops from viruses.

Maingear Shift Releases High-Powered CPUs

Maingear recently released a duo of simple-looking desktop towers that have high-powered features inside. Called the Shift: Intel P55 and the Shift: Intel X58, both CPUs are powered by Intel Core i7 900 processors.

The desktop towers also run the new operating system Windows 7. And for the gamers, you will be ecstatic to know that the two Shift: Intels run an ATI Radeo HD and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. It also has six mechanical or 12 SSD drives.

Meanwhile, the P55 also contains up to 8GB DDR3-1600 low latency RAM while the X58 has up to 12GB DDR3-2000 or 24GB DDR3-1600. Both desktop towers have the option to have DVD or Blu-Ray drivers.

Prices for the two Maingear CPUs are placed at $2,199 for the P55 and $2,599 for the X58. But with all the options listed above, prices can go up higher than expected.

Perfection: Lacie’s 1TB Network Space

The problem with digital hardware these days is that it lacks more storage for us to save movies, music, documents, pictures, etc. Now, a network space is nothing new. Basically, it exists to make life easier for you. With this device, you don’t need to have those numerous external hard drives and cables. The Network Attached Storage (NAS) is as good as it gets.

But for once, it looks like Lacie has just shoved all competitions to the dust. The new 1-terabyte Lacie network space has a sleep mode, and it can be awoken over the network. There’s also a USB port, so you will be able to hook up another drive to it.

It can also work as an iTunes server, and is compatible with Macs, Windows and gaming consoles.

The Lacie network space comes in a shiny black box that has a blue light underneath. You have the option to turn the light on or off. It all depends on your mood.

Sadly, the network space is only Ethernet-connected. No WiFi for Lacie. You need to connect this to a router, so the need for cables is still there. But hey, at least all you need now is one shiny stylish box instead of numerous external hard drives, right?

The Lacie network space will retail for $160, which is $100 less than Apple’s Time Capsule.

For those who like a short and slim wireless keyboard, then the Adesso WKB4000BB is just the one you are looking for. This keyboard looks like a full QWERTY board in one’s netbook. And because it is “thin and slim,” you can pack it inside your bag.

The Adesso WKB4000BB will work great with Windows XP, Vista and the new Windows 7. The keyboard has a small Bluetooth USB dongle, enabling it to connect to your PCs or laptops. The keyboard also has the “GlidePoint touchpad with a convenient scrolling feature.”

You can get this Adesso WKB4000BB for $129.99. It requires two AAA of batteries, and is compatible with a computer or mobile phone.

iPhone App Dragon Dictation Transcribes Text Directly From Voice

A lot of my writer friends complain about how hard it is for them to transcribe interviews after a press conference or press briefing. And true enough, most of them just rely on their notes. The problem is, this might lead to misquoting your interviewee thereby, making you face some well-grounded libel suits.

But thanks to this new iPhone app, called the Dragon Dictation, you may never have to play, pause and rewind your tapes ever again. This voice recognition app transcribes your speech into text, and allows you to send it as an e-mail or store it as a document.

All you have to do is to launch the application, press the record button and start talking. After that, Dragon Dictation will send your speech to a software, which will immediately analyze your speech through an algorithm.

This Dragon Dictation is available for free download from the App Store for a limited time only.

xpPhone Runs On Windows 7

There are some interesting new pieces of information regarding the xpPhone, which works like a netbook. The smartphone will be available in a variety of touch screen display sizes, including 4.3 inches, 4.8 inches and the 7-incher display. You’ll also be able to add a 5-megapixel camera, Windows 7 and a dual GSM/CDMA support.

The xpPhone is customizable. Here are some of the options you can choose for your smartphone: a 1G AMD Super Mobile CPU, support for 2G, 3G and even 4G networks, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. You can also choose to have a two-SIM standby (GSM/GSM, TD/TD and EVDO/EVDO) and a dual-mode and dual-standby (GSM/CDMA, GSM/TD and CDMA/TD). Ports available are one earphone jack, one microphone jack, one USB 2.0 port, SIM slot and a docking connector for VGA output signal.

There’s still no word on pricing, but check back in again for more details. I’m pretty sure though that the prices are going to be based on the customizations.

Motorola Clutch i465 Is Just An Ordinary Mobile Phone

There’s a simple explanation to why this new phone from Motorola is named “Clutch.” Its textured rubber-covered backside resembles the clutch of a stick-shift car, so that’s probably where it got its name.

But of course, we should not judge this phone by how weird it’s called. The only thing that confuses me now is why Motorola molded this one like the Blackberry when its features are nothing like the original Research In Motion (RIM) device. The Motorola Clutch i465 is slightly thinner than the Blackberry and its keyboard is even skimpier than that of the tiniest Blackberry. But don’t get discouraged by its tiny keyboard, its QWERTY-based keypad is actually easy to use.

The only problem that the Motorola Clutch i465 showed me is that it’s just an ordinary mobile phone with a slew of even more ordinary features like the camera, Bluetooth, GPS, voice dialing, and Push-To-Talk. But if you want to convert this into a smartphone, you can do so by availing of its offered email and Web features.

You can get this Motorola Clutch i465 from Sprint or Boost Mobile for about $99.

Fujitsu Releases F-04B: A Pico Projector And Phone In One

The Fujitsu F-04B is not your typical projector or mobile phone. If you’re into miniature gadgets, then this is a must-have for you! The Fujitsu F-04B has a 3.4-inch display screen and slide-out keyboard (you have the option to separate this). In place of the keyboard, you can connect a 845 x 480 pico-projector. That makes this Fujitsu F-04B a one-of-a-kind dual-device gadget.

If you separate the keyboard, it can communicate to the screen through its Bluetooth capability. It can act as a keypad, microphone, speaker and game pad. It can also serve as a remote control when you are using the pico-projector.

For an ordinary mobile phone, the Fujitsu F-04B’s 12-megapixel camera takes incredible-looking photos. If this is not enough to wow you, the Fujitsu F-04B also has touchscreen ability, so it almost feels like owning high-tech gadgets like the iPhone.

This pico-projector and phone was first shown during the CEATEC 2008. But according to Akihabara News, Fujitsu and DoCoMo have already partnered to release this Fujitsu F-04B. There is no word yet though how much this will cost, and when it will be available.

Vizit Digital Photo Frame Displays Pictures Straight From Your Phones

Ever since the first digital photo frame was released early last year, companies have been competing with each other trying to come up with the best digital photo frame for us. And now, Isabella Products Inc. and AT&T have partnered to produce this brand new, two-way interactive digital photo frame.

Called the Vizit, it will allow users to send and receive photos over the air, all the while combining an easy-to-use interface and real-time photo sharing. It also has a full-touch interactive screen display and remote management from VizitMe.com.

The Vizit will rely heavily on AT&T’s wireless network to send and receive photos. It will also enable you to build a community for you and your Vizit friends. This makes the photo-sharing option even better than before. Your friends in the community will be able to see your pictures without you tinkering with your memory cards or what not. It’s like a visual Twitter, according to coolest-gadgets.

This device will have a 10.4-inch high resolution display screen with easy-to-use icons and a carousel menu. You can also create your own slideshows, as well as rotate or enlarge them.

The Vizit will be available starting next year for $279.99, plus an additional monthly plan from AT&T.

JVC GZ-HD620 Is The Smallest And Lightest HD Camcorder

Last week, JVC unveils three of its new Everio camcorders after six months of silence from the Japan-based company. But now, it looks like JVC is on a roll with their unveiling of the new JVC GZ-HD620.

The JVC GZ-HD620, which was announced in Japan, is the world’s first smallest and lightest HD HDD camcorder. At only 270 grams, this camcorder has 120GB of storage space for all those 1080p videos you may be able to take. It has a sensor of ¼.1 inches and 3.32-megapixel CMOS job, 30x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom.

This device has a 2.7-inch LCD screen, and it also has the ability to upload directly to YouTube because of its quick upload function. Measuring 53 x 63 x 115mm, the JVC GZ-HD620 also has a micro SD/SDHC slot, USB and HDMI ports.

There’s no word yet on its pricing, but it will come out at the CES in January. It is available in Japan starting today in colors black, red and silver.

Pro-View Wireless Camera Can Be Controlled From 500 Feet Away

People might get confused as to how exactly this Pro-View Wireless Camera Display unit can work with an ordinary dSLR. The point is: this two-part gadget uses a video camera to peek into the optical viewfinder of a dSLR. It then beams the image up to 500 feet, which can be viewed on a 640 x 480 LCD screen.

The transmitted can be compatible with various dSLRs including Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony. You can use this device with four of these with one screen/receiver unit. You can flip through them or display all four displays at once. The transmitter can last up to four hours while the display can last for 10 hours.

However, if you like something that can trigger the camera itself, you might need to buy a separate remote control for that one.

The Pro-View retails for $400.

Creative’s Third Generation Vado HD Pocket Camcorder Has Improved Features But Lower Memory

Creative’s last generation camcorders is not the best of the company’s video recording devices… and that has been proven again by the arrival of Creative’s Third Generation Vado HD Pocket Camcorder.

This line of camcorders improved on the last gen’s features by having better low-light video recording, manual exposure adjustment and motion-detection modes. But the downside of this line is that Creative only came out with a 4-gigabyte capable model. The low storage space may be a problem for most users.

Although if you are not that too keen on memory space, you may want to get wowed by the camcorder’s improved audio recording quality. Here are some more features of the Vado HD Pocket Camcorder:

- Improved quality of video in low light or brightly lit conditions with manual exposure adjustments

- External stereo microphone support for better audio recording

- Headphone output for private listening

- Motion Detection Mode enables users to program the camera to begin recording as soon as motion is detected

- Out-of-the box Mac and PC compatibility

- Still Photo Capture Mode

This fifth generation camcorders from Creative will come out in mid-December for $180, and will be available in colors red, blue, violet, black and white.

This new M7 from Leica includes a Leica SUMMILUX-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. wide-angle lens, lens hood, LEICAVIT M winder and a matching carrying case. It has no major changes from the original M7, albeit its new casing has given it a whole different dimension.

Casio Releases Exilim EX-FH25 And Exilim EX-FH150

The two Exims previously released by Casio—EX-FC100 and EX-FH20—are both capable of shooting 1000fps in slow-mode video. Both have 9.1-megapixel cameras, 10-megapixel CMOS sensor and the FH25 (20x superzoom) that does 40FPS high-speed bursts at 9 megapixels.

This new Exim FH25 from Casio basically has the same specifications as the two other models. It is a continuation of the success of the FH20. It has a 20x zoom range that covers the equivalent of 26-250 on a 35mm camera. It also features a 10-megapixel backlit CMOS sensor, an ISO range of 100-3200 and a built-in sensor-based stabilization.

Meanwhile, the other updated version of EX-FH100—the FH150—keeps its 5x optical zoom and sensor-shift image stabilization. Both of its camera features (for still and video) will be able to take 720p video at 30fps.

These two new models from Casio will arrive in Japan on November 27, so get your hands ready to pounce on at least one of these new cameras. As for a US release? Check back out again for more details.

Nikon S1000pj Projector Camera: You’ve Got To Love This Thing

The Nikon S1000pj is just an ordinary point-and-shoot digital camera, except that it has a projector inside its tiny frame. Months ago, we made fun of its “ordinary” features, but it’s actually quite a unique camera-slash-projector if you think about it.

The Nikon S1000pj got a 12.1-megapixel camera photo resolution, a 5x lens that’s 25mm equivalent on the wide end, built-in vibration reduction, SD storage, single USB slot and a rechargeable battery. Behind two layers of menu, you can find the ISO and white balance controls of the camera. But you don’t have to worry about that. The only thing I need to tell you is that the Nikon S1000pj shoots as easy as your camera phone.

And the most interesting part of the Nikon S1000pj? It’s got a projector that looks just fine. You can even stretch the photos up to 40 inches and it won’t flake on you. The projector button is right above the camera beside the projector’s manual focus slider.

Be cautious though, because battery is drained very quickly when you use the projector. You can have this Nikon S1000pj Projector Camera for $430.

Panasonic Releases Digital Photo Frame With iPod Dock

There are hundreds of digital photo frames out in the market, so can you actually blame Panasonic if they are desperate enough to include an iPod dock with the release of their new digital photo frame?

Panasonic’s MW-10 is a digital photo frame with an iPod dock and speakers shove into it. It has a 9-inch display, SD slot, 4GB of internal memory and USB connectivity. The iPod dock is placed at the back of the digital photo frame, which looks vaguely like a mini TV screen. The speakers, meanwhile, are located below the main display screen.

Imagine watching your picture slideshows with accompanying music in this Panasonic MW-10! I’m pretty sure you can get a better separate iPod dock, speakers and digital photo frame with a $300 price tag… but the Panasonic MW-10 is actually a compact and cool way to display your photos and play your music, so I’m sure some techie geeks would love to get their hands on this.

Pen-Like Spycam Will Make You Feel Like A Secret Agent

So you have seen Mission Impossible movies that used a hidden camera to spy on the film’s nemesis? Well, this here is an actual spycam hidden in the form of a pen.

This is the classic pen camera that has full video capabilities, a built-in USB connector, and an internal 4GB of storage capacity that can capture hours of high quality video in AVI format. It can also take still pictures if you want.

And the best thing about it that nobody would think you have a camera hidden here somewhere since the pen actually works.

Here are some more features of the spycam pen:

* Covert style video camera can capture hours of quality video
* Video file format: AVI
* 640×480 resolution
* 4GB of storage capacity
* USB 2.0
* Working pen with black ink
* Re-chargeable Li-ion battery (2 hour run-time)

You can get this spycam for $99.99, which you must admit is pretty cheap for a real-time spy camera.

Speakers Shaped Like a Mini Bomb

With the plentitude of speaker models out there, do you expect me to get something boring and ordinary? This mini bomb-like speaker is the right fit for someone like me who’s looking to diversify the ambience of her too-girly room.

This mini bomb speaker will be able to play you music whether from an iPod or a generic MP3 player. You simply have to plug your audio device in the 3.5mm jack, and you’re good to go. This speaker is compatible with pretty much any audio players, as well as some mobile phones. It’s also relatively small enough to be portable, so you can carry it inside your bags wherever you need to go.

The bomb speaker has a built-in battery, and with a full charge, it could play music up to four hours. You can get it for about $12 from a UK store.

Pentax K-X Looks Like A Toy Made Of Legos

It’s hard to believe how Japanese make their gadgets more stylish and trendy like, for example, the limited edition Pentax K-X based on the color scheme of Japan’s Kore Ja Nai robot.

This Pentax K-X, which only 100 pieces will be released, is a fully functional digital SLR camera that can shoot 24-megapixel stills and 720p movies at 25 frames per second. Its ISO ranges from 200 and 6,400, although it can be extended to 100 and 12,800.

The camera has a 2.7-inch LCD with live view and face detection features, as well as auto picture and scene modes. It also has creative processing and filters modes with HDR image capturing in its compact body. The Pentax K-X is powered by AA lithium batteries (they are also compatible with AA NiMH rechargeable and alkaline batteries).

This dSLR camera is available in colors red, white, black and blue for US buyers while Japan will get the crazy color options like this Kore Ja Nai-inspired theme.

You can get this Pentax K-X dSLR from the company’s online store for $880.

DXG-125V: A Compact Camcorder For The Sports Lovers

If you’re into hiking, camping, sky diving, mountain biking, sailing across the ocean and all that outdoor, adventure stuff, then the DXG-125V is just what you need to store your mementos in style.

This portable camcorder is perfect for an outdoor adventure since it has a rubberized grip that will protect it from rugged wear and tear. And although it is not waterproof (one of its disadvantages), this camcorder can resist moisture so you might be able to bring it in high- or low-temperature areas.

The DXG-125V has a 1/4 CMOS 1.0 megapixel sensor (which is just like any ordinary camera phone) and a 128MB of flash memory that can only be expanded with an SD card. Its video capability can shoot, however, in high definition formats of H.264 and WVGA and 720p at 30 frames per second.

This camera will allow you to point, shoot, film and view the results with its 2.0 TFT display screen.

When you buy this for $139.99, it will come with a compass, HDMI cable, USB, software and other digital accessories including a nice, zipper-shut case and headphones (the camcorder is MP3 compatible).

You can choose from three colors for this camcorder—red, green or camouflage.
